Computers are in the daily lives of many individuals whether they are using them for work, or they are just being used for a quick movie, but do you ever think about how that certain computer is actually working or what the computer consists of? In this blog I am going to be informing you on the different components that an ordinary laptop has and how they contribute to the mysterious ways that an everyday laptop operates.

The first component that I am going to be describing is called the Central Processing Unit or CPU. The CPU is in charge of operating the system and every application that you use. Better known as the controlling component of your laptop. The faster the CPU the faster your laptop will be able to do more tasks simultaneously.

 

In reference to memory in your laptop, your laptop uses its Hard Drive. The laptops Hard Drive consists of memory and space that allows individuals to install larger programs. The more gigabytes of storage in the hard drive, means more space for more items.

In the System Memory of a laptop , the laptop uses memory in order to make the computer run faster. By using the System Memory the computer is allowed to not only run many programs at a period of time, but also allows the computer to be able to work with larger multimedia programs.

In order for laptop display, laptops use liquid crystal display (LCD) screens. These screens are able to display clear vivid imagery by what is called resolution, which refers to when an image matches the exact number of pixels on the screen. The higher the resolution, the better the laptop imagery will display.

The Optical Drive in a laptop is the laptops DVD or CD drive. DVD+/-RW drives allow computers to read and write blank DVDs and CDs in all formats. These drives are handy because they allow individuals to write and play as many DVDs and CDs as they want. Some computers may not have them due to space, but a good majority of today’s computers do.

Computer Export Ports vary depending on the computer, but most computers consist of at least a couple USB ports, also a VGA port that is used in order for a computer to connect to a separate monitor or projector.

Networking in a laptop works by allowing you to connect to the internet through a Ethernet cable. Wireless connections are however seen in today’s newer additions of laptops. Many people now also use home wireless networks which allow families to use their devices in any place of their house.

Laptops lastly consist of a Video Card, also called graphics card, that allows laptops to generate graphics in a display. All CPU devices have a graphic card, but the Video Card has an extra device that takes the load off of the processor. This allows a computer to smoothly stream a video or movie.

Are you the type of person who feels that false eyelashes are a necessity? For those who do not know what the application of individual eyelashes consists of, here is a video that gives a little insight on how the application works.

Though all the issues that may evolve from the application of individual eyelashes, I have a solution. This solution involves the application of what I call the Eyelash Glasses, in this invention there are special light rays, and applicators that apply the individual eyelash extensions onto a client with a natural glue that consists of only castor oil, that  instead of harming the clients eyelashes it is going to help the clients eyelashes become healthier and look the way they are wanting them to, so that pretty soon the client is not going to have to continue the process of going to get the individual eyelashes professionally applied. This invention is also going to apply lubricant to the eye so that the eye will no longer have to be dried out or irritated from the application of the new eyelashes.

In the process when the application begins the glasses are applied to the client where then the client will undergo a 30 minute eyelash application treatment where lubricant will be applied to their eyelash line following the natural application of the false eyelashes, after the application the client is able to let us know if they want any extra areas filled in and if they were pleased with the way the eyelash glasses applied their individual eyelashes, if the client is pleased with the job, then the process would be complete, and the difficulties that come with eyelashes applied the harmful way is solved and people will be able to have their eyelashes applied the healthy way.

When looking at these pictures, you can see how the different structures and textures make these flowers unique in their own little way. While Many flowers may come in the same color, maybe even the same type,  it takes the special structure and texture to help us define what type of flower we are actually dealing with. Structure and texture in flowers also helps the person viewing the flowers be able to distinguish the true nature of that individual flower and the individual beauty that each flower portrays.

In this picture, we can see how the bright petals show a little rough pattern on the ridges of the petals, and we can see how the petals sort of open starting from the middle  outward.

In this picture, the close up on the petals allows us to see the purple texture  just barely over powering the natural white color of the carnation, and just like the carnation before it we can see the petals blossoming outwards.

In this picture, we are able to see how this carnation has already bloomed unlike the others and we are able to see how there is this sort of coloration where we can see that in some parts of this flower the petals portray a lighter color towards the middle of the flower and the others portray either a light or dark pinkish orange towards the outer layers of the flower.

In this picture, the same as the carnation before this, we see discoloration, but what makes this flower unique is the broadness  of the petals and the darken of the reddish color toward the end of each individual petal.

In this picture, we can see a whole bunch of texture coming from the pistil. We can also see the rigid lines flowing through the petals as well and how the flowers grows its petals layer by layer.

In this picture, unlike the flower before, this flower does not have much coloration towards its pistil, but we can see how the petals do grow layer by layer.

In this picture, in the flowers that we are looking at, we can see a lot of coloration. There are colors that bleed together, we can see that the pistil is yellow like most flowers, but in this picture the hint of colors that come together is what makes this flower unique.

In this picture, we can see a sort of stripped pattern happening on the petals, that grow in layers with white colortation appearing sparatickly from the pistil.

In this close up picture of these Dragons Breath, we can see the different structures that come with each different color of the flower that appears in the picture. On the purple Dragons Breath you can see the discoloration of purple from the outer side of the flower compared to the inner side, in the white there is not much discoloration but the outer side does appear to be shinier than the inner side.

In this picture, we can see the true beauty that comes from a rose, the petals look so much like silk indicating the softness that the rose petals have. The petals go perfectly from the middle opening outward, showing the true broad structure of the rose.

In this speech Donald Trump talks about the 180,000 immigrants that are here in the United States who he believes are coming here and putting our United States citizens at risk. What he lacks to mention is how much immigrants really contribute to not just our everyday lives but our economy and our diversity as well. Immigrants pay an amount of $11.64 billion in taxes every year helping raise the United States economy. Without immigrants many of today’s programs would be put to an end with the lack of resources that many immigrants funds make up for. Immigrants are also one of the key reasons as to why America is so diverse, many of today’s traditional food and languages come from people who have came here from different regions. Which contributes to many of the diverse languages that you hear in our everyday lives, it also contributes to many of the reasons as to why America has a wide variety of diverse restaurants to choose from. Immigrants contribute to the reason why America is not just any ordinary place. Immigrants are the reason we can carry on who we really are, they give us opportunity. In this speech Trump has failed to see what immigrants really mean to our society, and how much we really do need them. He is too focused on our resources that “immigrants take away”. When he really needs to look in the other direction and see how good immigrants really are to not only us but America as well.

When looking at social media the first thing that comes to some people’s mind is probably Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram. They are not wrong for thinking that way, because Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram are the leading social media apps in 2018 with an estimated One Billion people on Facebook, and an estimated 158 Million on Snapchat, and Instagram with an estimated 800 Million, but do they think about the social media bullying and the effects that it has on people just like you and me.

Bullying happens everywhere, whether we realize it or not. It happens in person at school, on the bus, anywhere that you could think possible that involves human interaction. Even I was bullied when I was in the fourth grade. People do not know the serious effect that they could have on someone, just by a little word that they say or post online about. The same way that bullying effected Rachel Scott, it could affect someone like me and you.

When looking at Facebook bullying there are many types of bullying from using vulgar words, to posting inappropriate pictures of someone. When you learn about the internet one of the first things that your told is that everything that is posted on social media stays on social media whether you delete it or not. When posting an inappropriate picture of someone exposing them on either Snapchat or Instagram , deleting it will not help, social media already has that picture and if the person being exposed wants to report you for legal issues then they have every right to do so. Even a post insulting someone could be used against you.

The good thing that most social medias such as Facebook, Instagram, and SnapChat have is a Privacy Policy, it allows people to report any inappropriate pictures or posts about themselves or others. This is an effective way to help prevent cyberbullying, but the amount of people reporting is low, we need more people reporting on the issue instead of feeding in to it. So that we can use social media for what it is really for!
